"In looking for smartphone traffic software program, the form factor presented a concern. With such a small screen how could I really see what is going on, especially while driving. The way the software is organized makes it easy to check conditions on the fly. I like the overall mapping and the cameras with the zoom in options are almost as good as a full sized monitor. Worth the investment. I use it every day."

"TrafficEdge provides a perfect balance between simplicity and functionality. TrafficEdge is easy to use. Once you have configured your city, it automatically loads when opened. By assigning TrafficEdge to a button, I can get a real-time map of traffic within 60 seconds (which includes connection time). TrafficEdge causes my PDA to dial the internet via my Bluetooth cellphone. Using less than 5K of data, it displays a full map of the Denver area with traffic speeds. There are many traffic cameras that can be viewed as well. Each seems to take less than 1K of data transfer to display. The low bandwidth usage is great. For less than 1MB per month, I can check traffic four times a day and display four cameras per day. If you want real-time traffic information quickly, you need TrafficEdge."

"Really works. Live uptodate photos from traffic cams. Seems to have most all major cities. The developer even encourages you to contact them to tell them of traffic cams not on their site. Well worth the small price. A must if you commute on busy busy freeways."

"TrafficEdge is a great product. I live in Seattle needing to pass 520 bridge everyday. Using TrafficEdge, I check for bridge conditions. Map refreshes take 4-8 seconds depending on my t-Mobile connection on 7100t, but I get the information. Simple and easy interface make it easy to use. Good price."

"I purchased this software on 4/24 to test it out. I had sent an email to the developer with a question regarding the traffic cameras available in the Pittsburgh area. Within hours the company added all of the cameras in the Pittsburgh area that I could have ever wanted. The software itself is top-notch. It has an easy to use and understand interface. Combine that with the willingness of the company to update their software and you have a combination that is unbeatable. I still can't get over how fast they responded to my question and delivered a solution just as fast!!! I will definitely be purchasing more software from this company in the future!!! I just wish there were more companies like this one around."

It's great to be able to adjust your commute without having to wait for a traffic report. Also, if you like to travel, or have to travel, they you can subscribe to that city and check traffic. Great Traffic Viewing Application for Smartphone and Blackberry

"TrafficEdge is a great traffic viewing application. It shows me live traffic cameras as I stop and go on the almost always congested I5 in Los Angeles. Now, I can view the actual traffic conditions and the traffic map. The application works well even on the Blackberry version where I have a larger screen on my 7100. Pictures come out really well. It does take 5 seconds to download the photos given speed of cell phone GPRS connections. Still not bad and much better than driving blind."

TrafficEdge Corporate Edition (BES version)

TrafficEdge Corporate Edition (BES Version) is for corporate users of BlackBerry that have BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) installed with Exchange, Notes or GroupWise. If your company provided you with the BlackBerry device, you probably need Traffic Edge BES version.

TrafficEdge Personal Edition (WAP version)

TrafficEdge Personal Edition (WAP version) is for small business and individual users. If your company provided you with the BlackBerry device, you probably need TrafficEdge Corporate Edition (BES version).

TrafficEdge Personal Edition (Verizon 7250)

If you have a Verizon 7250 device with RIM O.S. 4.0 of BlackBerry, we offer TrafficEdge Personal Edition (Verizon 7250). TrafficEdge Personal Edition (Verizon 7250) is for small business and individual users. If you are a corporate user of BlackBerry (if your company provided you with the BlackBerry device and you have BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) installed), you probably need TrafficEdge Corporate Edition (BES version).

Symbian

TrafficEdge requires MIDP 2.0 profile. JVM provided by Sun Microsystems currently does not support MIDP 2.0. Hence, TrafficEdge will not work JVM provided by Sun Microsystems. TrafficEdge requires the JVM provided by IBM (IBM's WebSphere Everyplace Micro Environment (WEME 5.7.1)). WEME can be downloaded from here.
